The United States portion of the Tour 2010 finally ended after 13 days, but the memories of being so close to Manchester United will surely last an entire lifetime.

United's three-stop tour of the United States was filled with once-in-a-lifetime chances for all of those who were able to attend either the matches or the open training sessions.

Unless United decide to come back to the States in the near future, some of the die-hard fans will more than likely never get to experience something like this again.

The access to the open training sessions, witnessing Sir Alex Ferguson and members of his backroom staff walking around the cities or being at a location where some of the players were either relaxing or doing a little shopping was something that United supporters in the States thought that they would never have the opportunity to see.

Besides the random request for photo here or autograph there, the players were able to actually enjoy some of the sites that the "small town" Americans cities had to offer without being really bothered.

Some of the travel was definitely tiresome because of either airline delays or train cancellations, but it was well worth it as some supporters were able to meet some of the players or chat with the manager and his staff.

Unlike some of the modern-day players, the United players showed amazing generosity and willingness to speak and sign autographs for their adoring fans.

There are a lot of memories from meetings and greetings, but the footballing lesson that United showed the MLS All-Stars - who were previously unbeaten against English opposition. They always say, "There is soccer, there is football, but then there is Manchester United football," and that was evident Wednesday night.

Having the Manchester United players and staff with arm's reach made it well worth the long journeys that some of the Reds made from all over the United States.

PHILADELPHIA OPEN TRAINING A SUCCESS

Manchester United held their first open training session on their Tour 2010, and One United USA members in the Philadelphia area had an exclusive opportunity to see their Old Trafford heroes train right in front of their very own eyes.

The intimate atmosphere allowed the members - young and old - the chance to interact with the players and Sir Alex Ferguson with an autograph session at the end of the practice.

To give potential members the idea of how exclusive this was, fellow United supporters that live in England are not able to watch them train at Carrington.

One United USA, the official membership and supporters club for United in America, was able to offer this opportunity to their members because of their strong relationship with the club.

Because of strong interest, One United USA's allocation of passes to the other training sessions in both Kansas City and Houston have been sold out.

One United USA's allocation of exclusive passes to Manchester United's open training session in both Kansas City and Houston are SOLD OUT.

USA members attending the exclusive open training in Kansas City, who have not received their passes via mail, can pick up their passes outside the Swope Park Training Facility on July 24 beginning at 4:00pm (Individuals not retaining their passes within thirty minutes of that time will forfeit their admittance to the event.).

Please be advised that individuals without passes for the event will not be admitted!

One United USA, the official Membership and Supporters Club for Manchester United, has allocated match tickets within supporters sections and training session passes for Chicago, Philadelphia, Kansas City and Houston for our “Friends of the Reds” in the “United” States.

Manchester United's first public training session in the United States will be at Toyota Park on July 14 prior to the Chicago Fire's SuperLiga 2010 match against Monarcas Morelia. Ahead of their clashes against MLS competition, Philadelphia Union, Kansas City Wizards and the MLS All-Stars, the Reds will train the day before their respective matches.

Training session passes are included within official membership of the Manchester United Membership and Supporters Club and are limited to two (2) passes per one (1) One United Membership. Access to the following requires current subscription for the 2010/2011 season and are subject to confirmation of membership.

Current One United members are required to email membership@oneunitedusa.com FIVE days before specific training session.

Please denote venue; address for delivery and number of passes requested within your correspondence.

Manchester United's Tour 2010

Manchester United will go west to prepare for the 2010/11 season, with new matches announced today for Toronto, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Houston and Guadalajara.

First stop is a training camp in Chicago, home of new shirt sponsors Aon, followed by a visit to the Rogers Center in Toronto for a match against Celtic on July 16, then a return to the Lincoln Financial Field, where United played in 2003 and 2004, against Philadelphia Union on July 21. Four days later, the Kansas City Wizards provide the opposition at the Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City. The USA matches are completed in Houston on July 28 with a game against the MLS All-Stars in the Reliant Stadium.

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that legendary English side Manchester United will hold an open training session at Toyota Park on Wednesday, July 14th at 4.00 pm CST.

The Red Devils will train prior to the Chicago Fire’s opening SuperLiga 2010 match against Monarcas Morelia, which kicks off at 8.30 PM CST at Toyota Park.

The only way to gain admission to Manchester United’s open training is to hold a ticket to the Fire – Morelia SuperLiga match that evening at Toyota Park.

Tickets for the Fire’s opening SuperLiga match start at just $22.00. Fire Season Ticket Holders and ten-game pack holders are eligible for a “buy one ticket, get one ticket” offer compliments of the Fire.

Dallas Reds' Bus Tour

The local One United USA branch, Dallas Reds, is organizing a round-trip VIP coach, pre-and-post game hospitality and a match ticket within the Manchester United supporters section behind the goal for $140.00.

Kickoff is at 7.30 PM. Pick-up and drop-off will be at a location TBD in Addison. The coach will depart at 11.00 AM and return immediately after the game.

Payment in full via PayPal is required by Wednesday, July 14th. Space is limited. Once payment has been received, a voucher will be emailed to you allowing you to board the coach. Tickets will be distributed upon arrival at Reliant Stadium on match day.
